Full job description

Required Safety Supervisor / Safety Officer with 5–6 years of experience and an ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) qualification, you can use the following:

Job Title

Safety Supervisor / Safety Officer

Experience

5–6 years of relevant experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, infrastructure, or related sectors.

Qualification

Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) – Mandatory.
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering/Science preferred.
Additional certifications such as First Aid, Fire Safety, NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA are advantageous.

Job Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct regular site safety inspections and risk assessments.
Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce safety procedures.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training programs.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events, and prepare reports.
Maintain safety records, permits, checklists, and compliance documentation.
Coordinate emergency preparedness drills and fire safety activities.
Ensure adherence to company HSE policies and client safety requirements.
Liaise with management, contractors, and employees on safety matters.
Monitor work permits and high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, and work at height.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
Good understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification techniques.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to lead safety initiatives and enforce compliance.
Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.

Key Requirements

ADIS qualification is mandatory.
5–6 years of relevant safety experience.
Ability to work independently and manage site safety operations.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹260,000.00 per year
