Together, these teams will help Edwards operate more efficiently and accelerate innovation in support of our mission of advancing patient care.</p><p></p><p>As Edwards accelerates its AI-driven transformation, we are seeking an <span>Architect, IT Solutions</span> to serve as the enterprise technical authority for our two most strategic agentic AI platforms — Microsoft Copilot <span>(M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio) and Moveworks</span>. This <span>is a multi-faceted architecture role that spans platform leadership, integration design, and end-to-end solution architecture</span>. You will define how these platforms are built, extended, integrated, and governed across the enterprise.</p><p></p><p>This role works alongside our existing Azure infrastructure architect and complements cloud expertise with deep, platform-specific technical authority. role for you.</p><p></p><p><b>How you’ll make an impact:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Platform Architecture Leadership — Copilot & Moveworks</b></p><ul><li>Own <span>the enterprise platform architecture</span> for Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio) and Moveworks — serving as the definitive technical authority on capabilities, extensibility, and best practices.</li><li>Define the <span>ecosystem</span> blueprint, platform standards, extensibility patterns, and long-term technical roadmap for bo<span>th platforms</span>.</li><li><span>Evaluate and recommend new platform features, plugins, connectors, and agentic AI capabilities</span> as they emerge from Microsoft and Moveworks.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Integration Architecture</b></p><ul><li><span>Design and govern the integration layer connecting Copilot and Moveworks to enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, JDE, Active Directory, HRIS, LMS, and CMDB.</span></li><li>Define API strategies, event-driven patterns, connector frameworks, and <span>messaging standards</span> that enable secure, reliable, and scalable data flows across platforms.</li><li>Partner with the Azure architecture team to ensure integration patterns align with cloud infrastructure, identity (Entra ID), and security standards.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Lead Solution Architecture</b></p><ul><li>Provide <span>end-to-end solution design and technical authority</span> for all AI agent, copilot, and automation solutions built on these platforms.</li><li>Lead architecture reviews, approve design decisions, and ensure solutions are production-ready, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.</li><li>Translate complex business requirements into scalable, repeatable architectural patterns and executable design strategies.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Governance, Mentorship & Innovation</b></p><ul><li>Develop, institute, and maintain platform-specific design methodologies, development standards, security patterns, and operational best practices.</li><li>Provide training, coaching, and technical mentorship to Forward-Deployed Engineers (FDEs), solution developers, and IT team members on Copilot and Moveworks architecture.</li><li>Survey emerging developments in agentic AI — including <span>multi-agent orchestration</span>, RAG patterns, and tool-using agents — and recommend approaches that extend platform value.</li><li>Develop and maintain architecture models, reference designs, integration maps, and documentation for current and proposed implementations.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What you’ll need (Required):</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.</li><li>10+ years of progressive IT experience, including significant depth in platform architecture, integration architecture, or solution architecture.</li><li>3<span>+ years in an architect role</span> working with cross-functional teams (within IT and/or business) on enterprise-level or complex system implementations.</li><li>Deep expertise in at least one of the following: <span>Microsoft Copilot ecosystem</span> (M365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Graph API, Graph Connectors, Copilot extensibility) or <span>Moveworks platform</span> (conversational AI, enterprise integrations, workflow automation).</li><li>Strong integration architecture skills: REST/GraphQL APIs, event-driven architectures, enterprise connectors, middleware, and messaging patterns (e.g., Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Power Automate).</li><li>Proven ability to <span>design end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise AI, automation, or digital workplace platforms.</span></li><li>Experience defining platform standards, governance frameworks, and reusable architectural patterns at enterprise scale.</li><li>Strong understanding of identity, security, and compliance requirements in enterprise AI deployments (e.g., Entra ID, conditional access, DLP, data classification).</li><li>Expert-level documentation and communication skills — ability to create architecture blueprints, integration maps, and present complex technical concepts to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including cross-functional negotiation, vendor management, and the ability to drive alignment across distributed teams.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What else we look for (Preferred):</b></p><ul><li>Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio — building custom copilots, plugins, connectors, topics, and generative AI orchestration.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Moveworks platform — configuring enterprise virtual agents, workflow automation, knowledge integration, and analytics.</li><li>Experience with agentic AI patterns including multi-agent orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), tool-using agents, and planner-executor models.</li><li>Experience integrating AI platforms with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, SAP, Active Directory, LMS, and CMDB.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) as an automation and extensibility layer.</li><li>Experience deploying AI solutions in regulated industries (e.g., medical device, pharmaceuticals, financial services) with attention to governance and responsible AI practices.</li><li>Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.</li><li>Professional certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, TOGAF, or equivalent architecture frameworks.</li><li>Track record of mentoring engineers and building technical communities of practice.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why is this role
