Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing global team at Sectigo.
We are hiring a backend-leaning Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help build, test, and operate a modern SaaS platform spanning Perl, Go, and TypeScript/Vue services. The platform is evolving from legacy Perl systems into better-bounded services, and we are looking for engineers who value disciplined modernization over unnecessary rewrites.
You will contribute across backend services, APIs, frontend applications, testing, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and deployment workflows. The environment emphasizes strong engineering practices, operational ownership, and thoughtful architectural decision-making.
Here are the core functions, responsibilities, and expectations for this role:
End-to-End Feature Development

Design, implement, test, and deploy features across backend, frontend, APIs, and database layers.

Contribute to schema migrations, CI/CD improvements, and operational tooling.

Maintain production reliability and participate in troubleshooting and optimization.

Additional tasks associated with this position may be assigned in response to company initiatives and business needs.
Modernization & Service Decomposition

Extract legacy Perl functionality into better-bounded services using strangler-fig patterns.

Build API-first integrations and contract-tested boundaries.

More information about this role:

This is a full-time and in-office position, reporting to our Chennai office 5 days a week.
-
The targeted compensation package for this role is between INR 20 LPA and 22 LPA, subject upon internal equity and years of experience. We may make further adjustments through an approval process if the targeted compensation range needs to be modified based on business needs and market trends.
Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of relevant technical developer experience in corporate and/or commercial settings.
