Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced HR manager to lead our HR function in Nagpur. The role involves recruitment, payroll, employee engagement, and performance management, with a focus on aligning HR strategies with business goals. You will also drive new HR initiatives and ensure efficient HR operations, contributing to the company’s growth. Ideal candidates should have a strong HR background in business consultancy, leadership skills, and a strategic mindset.
Reports to: Head of Human Resources
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Team handling & leadership:
- Lead and manage the HR team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
- Oversee the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring timely execution of tasks and responsibilities.
- Mentor and guide HR staff, ensuring their professional growth and development.
2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent, focusing on both technical and non-technical roles.
- Manage the entire recruitment cycle, from job posting to offer letters, ensuring timely and quality hires.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and provide strategic input.
3. Payroll is processed through HROne on time.
- Payroll is processed as per the timeline, irrespective of leaves or holidays.
- The salary register is shared with the Head of Human Resources for approval and verification as per the timeline.
- Error-free payroll report is submitted to the Head Human Resources for final processing
- Error-free bank details are shared for final payments, and bank reconciliation is to be performed immediately.
- All the payroll items are closed within the TAT
4. Employee Engagement:
- Design and implement employee engagement programs that enhance morale, increase productivity, and reduce turnover.
- Conduct surveys and feedback sessions to understand employee concerns and work on areas of improvement.
- Plan and execute employee recognition programs, events, and activities to foster a positive workplace culture.
5. Business Strategies & Alignment:
- Partner with senior leadership to align HR policies and processes with the overall business strategies and goals.
- Provide insights on workforce planning, organizational development, and succession planning to drive business growth.
6. Performance Management System (PMS):
- Design, implement, and manage the Performance Management System (PMS) to ensure continuous employee development and growth.
- Facilitate performance reviews, goal setting, and feedback sessions in collaboration with department heads.
- Ensure transparency and fairness in performance appraisals.
7. New HR Initiatives:
- Introduce and lead new HR initiatives aimed at improving organizational effectiveness.
- Spearhead change management processes in line with business consultancy best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends to drive innovation in HR policies and programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong understanding of payroll systems, employee engagement strategies, and performance management and labour law compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in team management, recruitment, and HR operations within a business consulting environment.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Human Resource
