Job Title: Driver

Job Summary:

A driver is responsible for safely operating a vehicle to transport passengers, goods, or materials from one location to another. Drivers must adhere to traffic laws and ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and in proper working order.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation: Safely transport goods or passengers to their destination on time.
Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes, using GPS or maps.
Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and well-maintained. Conduct regular vehicle inspections (checking oil, tire pressure, lights, etc.).
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all local and state traffic laws, as well as company safety regulations.
Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading goods or luggage if required.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of travel (trip logs, fuel usage, delivery receipts, etc.).
Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to passengers or clients.
Communication: Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delays to supervisors or dispatchers in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required depending on the job).
Clean driving record.
Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes.
Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (if transporting goods).
Good communication and time management skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle unexpected situations, such as traffic delays.
