Job Title: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Job Summary:
As a Chartered Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, providing financial advice, and supporting the organization’s financial health. You will work closely with senior management to influence financial decisions and strategies, maintain financial records, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
2. Auditing:
- Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations. Coordinate and assist with external audits, providing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
3. Taxation:
- Prepare and file statutory tax returns (e.g., GST, Income Tax, TDS, etc.) in compliance with Indian tax laws.
- Advise on tax planning and strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations.
- Handle tax assessments, appeals, and related litigation.
4. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including the Companies Act, 2013, and other relevant regulations.
- Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization’s operations and advise management on necessary actions.
5. Financial Advisory:
- Provide strategic financial advice to support business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, investments, and risk management.
- Support the development of business plans, financial models, and investment appraisals.
6. Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks, implement risk management strategies, and ensure adequate internal controls are in place.
- Monitor cash flow, manage liquidity, and optimize working capital.
7. Client Relationship Management (for CA firms):
- Manage client relationships, provide financial consulting services, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Develop new business opportunities by networking and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Required).
Experience:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management.
- Experience in a corporate environment or Industry is advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Income Tax Act, GST laws, and other financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
