About MRAI:

The Material Recycling Association of India (MRAI) is India’s apex organization representing the recycling and secondary raw material industry. With a membership base spanning across metals, paper, plastics, e-waste, and other circular economy sectors, MRAI works closely with various Ministries of the Government of India, NITI Aayog, and global trade bodies to promote sustainable recycling practices, policy reforms, and circular economy initiatives.

About this Role:

As a Marketing Executive, you will assist in delegate outreach, advertiser engagement, marketing communications, and research to strengthen MRAI’s visibility and industry connections. This is an on-site and full-time position based in Chakala, Andheri East, Mumbai, India.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research: Research and analyse potential delegates, sponsors, and industry stakeholders to strengthen event outreach and strategy.
Lead Generation: Build and qualify leads by reaching out to prospective participants, exhibitors, and partners through personalized calls, emails, and LinkedIn networking.
Delegate Outreach: Connect with potential delegates to promote MRAI events, highlight participation benefits, and drive registrations through effective communication.
Advertiser Engagement: Research and approach businesses for advertising opportunities in MRAI’s magazine; Identify high-potential businesses with limited digital presence, and position MRAI as a growth enabler.
Venue & Hospitality Research: Conduct research on suitable venues, hotels, and service providers to support MRAI’s events, conferences, and exhibitions, along with other key meetings and partnerships.
Industry Event Research: Identify relevant recycling-related events, conferences, and exhibitions where MRAI’s participation can add value and expand industry visibility.
Delegate Services: Provide assistance and resolve queries for delegates, ensuring smooth communication and a positive experience.
CRM & Reporting: Maintain updated databases, track outreach and advertising progress, and prepare analytical reports to support the marketing and business development teams.

What we are looking for:

Experience: Freshers and candidates with prior internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets for data management and reporting.
Basic understanding of marketing, social media, and outreach tools is a plus.
Knowledge of AI tools and marketing automation is an added advantage.

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related fields.

Attributes:

Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel for events and conferences when required.
Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
Keen interest in marketing, events, business development, and the recycling/sustainability sector.
