Full job description

Senior .NET Developer (Algorithmic Trading)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Strong knowledge of .NET Framework (4.5.2 or higher) including ASP.NET and WCF/Web API.
Strong knowledge of windows application technologies includes WPF, XAML, WinForms, Threading.
Solid understanding and implementation of object-oriented programming.
Experience in Object relation mapping using ADO.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ to SQL, LINQ to Objects, and Lambda Expressions used in LINQ.
Experience in .NET Core would be an advantage.
Strong knowledge in AJAX, Single Page Applications (AngularJS, ReactJS), and WebForms.
Proficiency in Database Design, Normalization, writing stored procedures, and User Defined Functions, and performance–driven queries.
Skilled in developing and maintaining reusable libraries.
Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests Nunit/MS Tests.
Basic knowledge of creating reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Experience working with Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.

Experience/Skills:

5-10 years of experience as .NET Developer
Solid understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS/React JS.
Should have knowledge of third party libraries like Infragistics or Telerik.
Should have working knowledge on any of chart libraries like Highcharts, Chart.js.
Profound knowledge of front-end web development and design using HTML5, CSS3, CSS, and Bootstrap.
Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine.
Strong command of spoken and written English. The position involves extensive interaction with teams in London and New York and good communication skills are a prerequisite.

Must be interested in working on cutting-edge technologies and do well in a collaborative environment. Bachelors/Masters degree in a scientific major is required.
