Role Overview
We are looking for a dependable, execution-focused Web Developer & SEO Support Executive to support day-to-day digital operations across Delight Investment Group's portfolio of brand websites. This is a delivery role with clear ownership: you will be accountable for completing assigned web and SEO support tasks accurately and on time. Where work requires deeper technical decisions, you will coordinate with the relevant technical team rather than make architectural calls independently. Content direction and review are handled by the marketing leadership; your focus is clean, reliable implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Web Development & Maintenance
- Execute daily website content updates, blog/media uploads, and plugin/content changes across multiple brand websites
- Build and publish landing pages from provided briefs and designs
- Provide frontend implementation support within established templates and components
- Manage WordPress CMS content and support standardized CMS workflows
- Perform QA testing, cross-browser checks, and pre-publish website audits
- Support website speed and image optimization
SEO Support
- Implement on-page SEO tasks (meta data, schema, internal linking, alt text) as directed by the SEO team
- Apply technical SEO fixes, redirects, and NAP/structured-data updates
- Assist with site health checks and flag issues to the SEO lead
Coordination & Accountability
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned tasks with full accountability for completion and quality
- Escalate technical or architectural decisions to the relevant development team rather than resolving independently
- Maintain version control and deployment hygiene via Git
- Keep the marketing lead and SEO lead informed of progress and blockers
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–4+ years of hands-on web development experience
- Strong WordPress CMS expertise (Elementor or similar page builders)
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+); working knowledge of TypeScript
- Familiarity with modern frameworks — React.js / Next.js / Astro (Astro a plus given current stack)
- Solid SEO fundamentals and on-page implementation
- Git/version control proficiency
- REST API integration basics
- Responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization
- Basic PHP (preferred)
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
