Job Overview:
CGI is looking for a talented and motivated Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java 8, Core Java, Microservices, and Spring boot to build and manage scalable, efficient, and reliable applications.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and manage Microservices architecture for enterprise applications.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using SQL/NoSQL databases.
Implement security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshoot production issues.
Participate in code reviews and ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Work with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and cloud platforms.
Monitor applications and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and system issues.
Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Primary skills: Java, Microservices and spring boot
Years of experience: 6-8 years
Location: Hyderabad RMZ only
Notice period: Immediate joiners preferred
