We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Associate to support financial operations, reporting, and client communications. Join our team to thrive in a collaborative, US-inspired corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage day-to-day accounting tasks including recording journal entries, invoicing, reconciliations, month-end books closing and financial reporting using ERPs.
· Prepare accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts with advanced Excel proficiency.
· Communicate effectively with US clients via email, calls, and presentations, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, adapting to US corporate culture and agile working styles.
· Support audits, compliance, and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· B.Com or MBA in Finance with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
· Proficient in MS Office, with strong expertise in Excel formulas/functions and PowerPoint for data visualization and reporting.
· Working knowledge of ERPs such as SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho, or Tally etc.
· Excellent spoken and written English skills for client-facing communication.
· Flexible with working hours to accommodate US time zones to an extent (i.e. few hours of overlap during US eastern business hours). Official hours will be from 11 am to 8 pm.
· Ability to embrace US corporate culture, including teamwork, proactive problem-solving, and results-driven mindset.
