Senior Manager - Operations , 10-15 yrs , Chennai

Position: Senior Manager – Operations

Location: Chennai (Ambattur)

Seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – Operations to leadend-to-end operations across three spice processing facilities located in Chennai and Guntur.

The role involves managing a combined installed capacity of 20,000 MT per annum of processed spices while ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, compliance, and people development.

Key Responsibilities

 Lead operations across three manufacturing facilities.

 Manage production planning and execution for 20,000 MT annual processing capacity.

 Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost optimization initiatives.

 Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and ensure adherence to operational cost targets.

 Ensure achievement of OTIF (On Time In Full) metrics to enhance customer satisfaction.

 Lead and manage a workforce of approximately 120 employees across locations.

 Develop and implement training and development programs for key operations personnel.

 Ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC, food safety, quality, and statutory standards.

 Monitor plant maintenance, process improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 Coordinate with procurement, quality assurance, supply chain, and sales teams for seamless execution.

 Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Candidate Profile

 10–15 years of experience in the food processing industry.

 Strong experience in managing HACCP-compliant and/or BRC-certified foodmanufacturing facilities.

 Prior experience in spice processing/manufacturing industry will be preferred.

 Proven leadership experience in handling large teams and multi-location operations.

 Strong operational planning, budgeting, and process improvement capabilities.

 Excellent communication and people management skills.

 Tamil-speaking candidates will be preferred.

Educational Qualifications

 B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred.

 MBA in Operations Management will be an added advantage.
