Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Technical Analyst – iStore (EBS) to analyze and document our Oracle iStore e-commerce platform. This role focuses primarily on code analysis, reverse engineering, and documentation rather than development.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in understanding existing customizations and translating complex technical logic into clear business process flows and documentation.
Key Responsibilities1. Code Analysis
- Analyze and understand existing custom code within the Oracle iStore environment
- Review components including:
- PL/SQL packages
- SQL queries
- Java / JSP components
- Oracle Workflow processes
- Identify and document logic related to shipping calculations and payment processing
2. Process Mapping & Documentation
- Translate backend logic into:
- Process flow diagrams
- Functional documentation
- Step-by-step transaction flows
- Create clear and structured documentation for business and technical stakeholders
3. Functional Discovery
- Analyze interactions between custom code and standard Oracle EBS modules:
- Order Management (OM)
- Shipping Execution
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Identify and highlight deviations from standard Oracle functionality
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Expertise
- Strong understanding of Oracle iStore (EBS) architecture and workflows
- Ability to read and reverse-engineer code in:
- PL/SQL / SQL
- Java / JSP
Oracle EBS Knowledge
- Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with:
- Oracle Order Management (OM)
- Shipping Execution
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Understanding of e-commerce order-to-cash processes
Documentation & Analysis
- Proven experience in:
- Creating process maps and flowcharts
- Writing functional and technical documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
