Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and performance driven Sales Manager to lead our phone-based residential sales team focused on home internet/broadband packages, and SIM-only services across the UK market. This leader will be responsible for driving revenue growth, hitting monthly targets, motivating sales advisors, coaching performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience during every call.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of phone-based sales advisors.
- Conduct daily/weekly sales huddles, coaching sessions, and 1:1 performance reviews.
- Foster a high‑energy, KPI‑driven culture focused on results and customer satisfaction.
- Develop call strategies and sales scripts tailored to UK residential consumers.
- Monitor pipeline activity, conversion ratios, talk times, and close rates.
- Own team sales targets for selling broadband packages, and SIM services.
- Track daily performance and implement corrective actions to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Identify opportunities to boost productivity and improve call outcomes.
- Provide product knowledge training on mobiles, broadband speeds, tariff plans and SIM options.
- Ensure compliance with UK telecom regulations (Ofcom standards).
- Monitor call quality and adherence to customer service guidelines.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for senior leadership.
- Analyze sales trends, customer behaviours, objections, and market insights.
- Recommend improvements to processes, scripts, and offers.
- Work closely with Marketing, Customer Support, Product, and Operations to optimize customer campaigns and offers.
- Provide feedback to product teams on market demand and customer sentiment.
Pre-requisites:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Team Leader in a telecoms campaign within BPO or contact center.
- Strong understanding of the UK residential telecom market (mobiles, broadband, SIM-only plans).
- Exceptional coaching, motivational, and people‑management skills.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with CRM systems and sales dashboards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and objection-handling abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, KPI-driven environment.
- Experience working with major UK telecom brands (e.g., EE, O2, Vodafone, Three, BT, Sky, Virgin Media) – desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (GDPR, Ofcom, consumer rights).
