About the Role - Research Analyst – Consulting Role
As a Research Analyst in consulting, you play a critical role in generating insights that directly inform client strategies, business decisions, and policy recommendations. The position demands a blend of analytical rigor, structured problem-solving, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable intelligence. You will be expected to leverage both primary and secondary research, apply advanced analytical tools, and synthesize findings into clear, client-ready deliverables. The role is highly collaborative, working closely with consultants, project managers, and domain experts to identify opportunities, assess risks, and support evidence-based strategies aligned with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Gather, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources (surveys, databases, industry reports, government publications, stakeholder interviews).
· Conduct industry landscape assessments, competitor benchmarking, and trend analysis to inform strategic recommendations.
· Identify patterns, relationships, and emerging opportunities from data and research outputs.
· Draft high-quality research reports, presentations, and briefing notes that translate data into structured insights for decision-making.
· Apply statistical and analytical methods using spreadsheets, visualization tools, and modeling frameworks to generate forecasts and scenario analyses.
· Ensure reliability, credibility, and consulting-grade precision in all outputs.
· Work with cross-functional teams to develop and present insights that shape client engagements, proposals, and long-term strategies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
· Bachelor’s degree (Business, Economics, Engineering, Sciences, or related fields). Master’s degree preferred.
· 0–2 years of relevant work experience in consulting, research, analytics, or strategy roles.
· Strong ability to work with datasets, apply quantitative techniques, and (ideally) develop predictive models. Familiarity with statistical methodologies is an advantage.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of PowerBI, Python, or similar analytical/visualization tools is a plus.
· Ability to manage multiple workstreams, deliver under tight deadlines, and apply problem-solving frameworks in a structured manner.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to prepare client-facing presentations and reports.
· Comfort working in collaborative, fast-paced, and impact-driven consulting environments.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
