Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer (Piping & Structures) will represent the PMC team and be responsible for overseeing the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities related to piping systems and structural works. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules for industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engineering & Design Review, Review and approve piping and structural design drawings, calculations, and engineering documents. Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements. Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and client teams for design optimization. Review P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics, support drawings, stress analysis reports, and structural drawings.
2. Construction Supervision. Monitor piping fabrication, erection, testing, and commissioning activities. Supervise structural steel fabrication and erection activities.Ensure construction activities are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
3. Resolve site engineering issues and provide technical guidance. Project Management. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project schedules.. Review contractor work plans, resource deployment, and productivity. Identify risks, delays, and recommend corrective actions. Participate in project review meetings and prepare progress reports.
4. Quality Assurance & Compliance, Ensure compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and statutory requirements. Review and witness inspections, hydro tests, pneumatic tests, and NDT activities. Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure quality compliance.
5. Review and close punch points before project handover. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Ensure all activities comply with HSE requirements and site safety procedures. Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and incident investigations. Promote safe work practices at site.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
