Hi, I joined this company in Aug’13 & have seen worst time since then. I joined after working with Genpact for around 5 years where I had great career. Agilent attracts the new job seekers by showing that they were listed in India’s best place to work but the facts are different. I joined their Accounts Payable - Banking&Payments team where the process is too bad. Management has done nothing to streamline the process & employees are forced to work from 8 in morning till midnight & even on every Weekends. Still their work is not completed & highlights the errors. Management really torture the employees especially in AP - Finance process. The company is not stable as proved by the fact that they got split from HP & now their EM part is getting to be split as Keysight Technologies in 2014. The lateral company is running in losses.Within 6 months of joining, company gave me Corrective action letter despite their HR policy that no employee can be judged in 6 months. Managers harasses all the time even on other’s faults. Old employees play politics here & no one wants to work here. Their another cons is the location of Manesar - worst place to go, neither secured & it’s all an Industrial area where you will be surrounded by the trucks. They have worsen my career. I was thinking of filling a suit in court against them but did not do as we get nothing in Indian courts. Guys this is my real experience & do not go to this company as you will get into depression. My colleagues who joined with me have already left this company, I was the only left to whom the company itself asking to leave otherwise they said that will terminate me. Even they can kill anybody in office. They give rank3 to any of the employee as per their taste. They made false allegations against me. My concern is that on what basis you judge company & list them in Best Place to work if they are making false allegation on employee & illtreat them. I was not on contract with company but they treat worst than that. This should be highlighted in media by sure. My friends there are asking me to take this in media/court.

	Having 3.8 Years of experience in Oracle Applications (E-Business Suite) in SCM (Inventory (INV), Purchasing (PO), Order Management (OM) modules. 
	Good Exposure to Oracle Application implementation methodology (AIM).
	Experienced in Operation analysis, Solution design, Build phases, Transition phase and Production phase, Testing, implementation, support, and documentation.

	 Knowledge on General Ledger (GL), Oracle Payables (AP), Oracle Receivables (AR) and Advance Pricing.
	Interaction with the development team for development of reports and changes needed in the requirements.
	Good communication skills, team player, quick learner and self-motivated.

Having worked at Agilent technologies as key account manager has been a roller coaster ride for me in terms of learning various  technologies and updating them at regular intervals, meeting the assigned yearly quota, handling irate customers , retaining them, safeguarding strategic customers from the competition additionally bringing new customers to the table and designing various marketing programs for customer engagement.

Agilent has given various opportunities to grow by learning and has enhanced risk taking abilities by fully understanding the customer and the market scenario.

Pressure here is always mounting and there is hardly any space to breathe. and when I talk about pressure its not just about numbers its about being able to deliver a value proposition to customer and making a brand out of yourself in the market, its about challenging yourself and outperforming beyond your expectations from your self.

I was privileged to have got and supportive and encouraging team and manager who pushed me to be a better version of my self and deliver on the management expectations.

This organisation is rated as 8th Best place to work in India in 2011-12 survey by Times out of 500 and I felt over last one year this as true. Colleague where technically sound and always helping. Team management is small concern and high target is an issue. Organisation has little cumbersome selling methodologies ( dealer products) which impacts achieving 100% customer satisfaction and issues on future deals.

Organisation has better plans for developement of personal skills which really helped me to ensure meet my numbers

•	Order management in SAP
•	Creation of purchase order, delivery challan, invoice 
•	Sourcing potential vendors in compliance with the company policies and procedures
•	Analyzing vendor performance through price, quality, delivery and general service/support 
•	Responsible for maintaining, configuring, test master data in SAP material management system
•	Assessing performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage of rejections, quality improvement rate, on time delivery, credit terms, etc

Frequent feedback system works wornders to bring the issue to the surface and resolve at the earliest to enhance productivity by avoiding delay in reducing waste and inefficiency

	Successfully provided support to 15 associates on the floor to handle pre-order, post order inquiry of customers, and provide weekly feedback for low performers to improve the quality of emails.
	Extended key assistance in scheduling and time management.
	Enhanced customer relations through appropriate product and service recommendations establishing customer’s goals and objectives.
	Provided significant content based knowledge and worked successfully as SME to help recruits on the floor.


Primary responsibilities:-
•	Execution of Agilent’s Global Infrastructure billing system to maintain ROI at each Agilent’s field & factory level. It further helps in Transfer pricing & reporting.
•	Working with Global Tax tax, Reporting team & Country controllers to identify Cost Centre based on nature of transaction to get maximum tax benefits. 
•	Preparation of final variance analysis as compare to last month actual to get visibility of major driver of variation & report summary to management.
Set up a new billing system in case of new acquisition & get it merged into current complex Agilent’s field/factory structure


I have worked there for 2 years. I found the company with best infrastructure, best in house facilities for sports oriented people. i.e Basket ball, Squash, Table Tennis, Cricket, Carrom, Gym etc.
Management is very supportive but sometimes may ask you to stay back for the work.
Cab services available. Shifts are mostly general except for few department i.e. Collection, Order Management etc.
Compensation is very good as compared to other orgs in Gurgaon.

Biggest problem with Agilent India is, there are so many tenured people here & they are willing to leave the role or department. They are comfortable and hence very very limited opportunity to grow especially at manager's levels. in Total, there are arround 7-8 departments and everyone knows everyone, so much talk about perception & link, its almost impossible to get promotion unless you re really close to 'Directors'. Agilent needs to do something about. Apart from that Agilent has great work environment , very less stress/pressure & its certified great place to work
