Working with BCCL is like working for your own family. It sticks to its tag line - Putting people first. Editing reporters' copies, making them reader-friendly, getting the facts right, delegating work to juniors, checking their copies, putting them on paper, getting right pictures/graphs that match the copies is what makes my day a great day at work.
Rewriting copies without changing the meaning is what gives me creative satisfaction, along with good camaraderie with colleagues who are now also my friends.
Working in sync with everyone leads to proper time management and smooth edition.
There is nothing really difficult if one puts one's heart to work.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
When no work Progress in the working site then I was boring on this day

- It always a good day to work hard in the design team specially the innovations and challenges in implementing them.
- Learned a lot starting from placing advertisements on page to creating pages, ads, articles, mastheads, full pages, promotional campaign and alot more.
- The hardest and the best part of the job is everything has a deadline and that deadline is TODAY. Most of the stuff has to be done then and there as has to be sent for printing by the end of day.

The Management does not recognise skill and give due values of skill knowledge dedication.

Not very good environment to work
No supporting facilites  work and die for the company but not bothered for life and family security when you are out of station for official assignment

Working with BCCL-The Times of India was a wonderful experience. I learned a lot from everyday work. from Building Public relations to performance. I learned from my colleagues too.I enjoyed my job too because it included organising events, meeting new people everyday. Achieving targets in time and accomplishing tasks. i must say it was a wonderful experience overall.

Media guys think they can loosely talk and often times cross the line under the veil of work. If you don't give in, you are seen as a misfit and your work is then questioned. My boss in HR actually told me post my complaints " to keep stakeholder happy is our only job" even if the stakeholder is asking for other than work favours

Had a fruitful and learning period of 20 years at the company. Each and every day will throw a new challenge at you. Had successfully launched the Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and Trichy editions of The Times of India due to the support and passion of the senior management in making it a market leader right from the launch.

its my dream working for the times of india.because its biggest competitor is the telegraph in kolkata.but i observed that TOI provides worldwide news whereas TT fails to do that.

BCCL is a novrant company.he has a well culture society .all over working staff is good and co operative.i am working in BCCL environmental lab jagjeevan nager.i indeepentaly handle air pollutants monitoring system and damoder valley project
