I don't have words to explain about Broadcom India work culture.

Always hire and fire mode and new hires always are the goat to slaughter.

Old legacy employees are full of politics and even they are not proper engineers most of the employees are pass out from very below average colleges and working with Broadcom since starting may be 6-10 years so they are like a frog in a dirty well.

Company environment is full of politics, dirt,stressfull. Old legacy employee don't loose their dependency on the module, application and product and always give a hard time to new resources and later on that resource are eligible for layoff.

Managers are really a dump and non technical and don't have any skills and not capabile to judge the internal politics within the team..just dummy managers.

HR is only evolve to maintain in and out time of employess and how to force the employess to work from office even in Covid peak.

Still in 21 century company having in and out time constraint, no WFH as such but on paper WFH with hidden terms and condition.

company offers huge amount of stocks to trap/attract new employess but stock get vested after 12-15 month and legacy employee and management not allow to sustain you till that time.



Broadcom is really an unprofessional, illogical, and not an employee-oriented company.
Without any solid reason, pushing software professionals to work from the office and every day some cases are covid19 cases are reporting and putting employees' life in danger.
Based on a realistic study, if around 20 employees are reported with covid19 in a month and with covid19 exponential growth, we can expect till Dec. 2020, almost 300 employees in an office location will be infected (Bare min.) and based on around 2% mortality in actual, we can expect around 6 employees in an office location will lose their life just due to this illogical decision.
Managers at Broadcom is just non-technical even not full-fledged people manager. It is quite a surprise to deal with non-technical managers in 21st  century.
HR dept. is totally worthless. Can anyone assume the HR dept. is not participate in recruitment. only evolved to learn politics and worthless activities like to maintain employees in/out time. Make sure employees are working from the office. Writing fake and positive company reviews on social media.
Every quarter of time, layoffs and anytime you may lose your job. Due to this fear top level of politics at legacy old employess




Salary and stock. Stock will be vested after 12-15 month but to sustain a job till that time is tough. Candidate should be strong to deal with politics

Here candidate should have primary skills how to deal with politics even technology hands on is secondary because other way around is not possible, means if you are technical strong but not capable to deal with toxic and political environment then you are gone.

Management is totally people manager and not capable enough to justify who is a genuine technical candidate and who is a political candidate.

HR Dept. is not evolve in their main course duty like involve in hiring process and employee wale fare. They are mostly put their brain in Lol IT task like how to force employees to stay in office, maintain in out time, keep a strong eye on employee leaves, in out and no WFH police.

Legacy team members having the monopoly ..in front of them IITs, experience holder from google, amazon, Microsoft level of companies are dump. And to sustain your job with them is really tough and you are hired only to treated as "Bally Goat" to slaughter during layoffs.

Broadcom is not a safe and employee oriented company

No one care about employees health and safety
Still in 21st century no concept of WFH as such
Worst medical insurance coverage
Still In/Out time boundation.
Layoffs are quite frequent. No job security. At any point of time you will be looser regardless how much technical sound and capable you are.
 And top of that company pushing hard for software professionals to visit office full day in corona crisis during July 2020. Where in Bangalore every day 2000 new corona cases are reported. And to visit office and do all interaction through IM messengers/Calls and emails. Without any reason company putting their software professional life in danger.

- Till now multiple corona infected case reported in office but no concept of colleague quarantine, no proper sanitization even now no one check your body temp. before entering into office. Software professionals are putting their life in danger as they don't have any other option, no jobs in the market.

Forcing the software professionals to work from the office during covid19 top crisis, without any office dependencies. is a live example of hight of unprofessionalism. Everyday covid cases are spreading and reporting in office.No one care.

Still, the company maintains an office in and out time, it is again a hight of unprofessionalism in the ear of the 21st century.

In 21st century, it feels like awkward for software professionals that no WFH policy OR having a lot of terms conditions.

Managers are like a dummy and non-technical and whole team work is driven by old legacy employees and they make their top dependencies and don't share any single information about product and source code. No one new employee can survive here.

Top-level of politics due to old legacy team members. Need to work 12-14hrs daily to sustain for the long run.

The company is famous for layoffs, each quarter having layoffs and new employees are slaughtered.







Good is good but forced their software professionals to work from office in Covid crisis even no dependencies of office to work. Work from office and do all interaction using online meeting . Till now almost 10% employees are suffered with covid and not sure about any casulties, rest of the employees will be diagnosed very soon but who cares.

Company is good but lot of work pressure, need to work like a robot. similar to Chinese work culture. Be ready to work min 10-12 hrs for long run.

Company is good but full of polities and i am sure, no one can see this level of politics in any software industry.

company is good and provide stock option but you will get that stock vested after more than a year and to sustain their job till that time is really a pass day one by one.

Company is good but still maintain in out time and no wfh option or wfh with terms and condition which you will never fulfil

Company is really worst specially during covid crisis India (during April 2021).

Management and HR pushing hard to software professionals to work from office without any office dependencies. Every day we can found some covid cases reported in office . We are in dying situation as we can't leave the job and if we will visit office we will be be covid positive. 

I am not able to understand, what management will achieved to put their IT resources into life danger. Either Broadcom will get any Award from IT sector to open their office and push hard to their software professionals to work from the office and put their life into danger.

The company environment is full of politics and old legacy technical people want to hold their dependencies into products and don't give you any space to survive into the team.
Work-life is really hectic and need to work from than 12 hrs daily for long term.



Chinese management Mandate software professionals to work from office during Covid 19 pandemic in Aug 2020, where every day more than 3000 new corona cases reported in the city. Almost every day get HR notification to inform confirm corona cases in office.

Broadcom famous for layoffs, no stability at all.

Old legacy employees not allow to sustain new resources and gradually they become eligible for layoffs.

Broadcom offer good stocks during joining which created after 12-15 months but don't join only due to this good figure because to sustain 12-15 months in Broadcom is really challenges and luck based.

Not at all employee oriented company and no one care employees. At least until Chinese CEO will not leave this company.

 

- During this covid19 panic situation in Bangalore during July 2020, company are pushing hard to their software professionals to visit office and no WFH most of the time. I don't understand who take this kind of decision, how an software professional can give optimum performance to work in danger and wear PPE kit and mask and than work on laptop for 6-8 hrs?
- Along with work in office during corona peak crisis, company are doing layoff their employees . No one can amazing the mental pressure to work with Broadcom.

If you are in Under "*Broadcom Software Business*", you will screw-up your peace of mind and personal life, health. Absolutely no work life balance, no employee friendly. No balance between Workforce & Work.  Broadcom work the basis of 1:3 (basis), it is unofficially expected work more than 14 hours day.

Employees can not voice out, it's only manager centric company and their decision is final. HR is Just like a rubber stamp. Strictly you are expected to appear at office despite any time/shift.

But the pay is huge as long as you survive in Broadcom.
