Collabera is a Fraud Company functioning in Bangalore.

My life is in dilemma due to your vendor - COLLABERA. 

As per my interview scheduled with HCL in ITPL - Bangalore, india where i was selected in the rounds and was given an offer to work with collabera of baroda branch functioning in bangalore office, the offer was for HCL project in MEDICAL DEVICES Division which will start from March 2014 and i was insisted to give resignation from the existing company in a weeks time following which i had resigned after receiving the scanned copy of the offer letter from collabera as Bio Medical Engineer via mail. I reported to HCL office in E-city, Bangalore where in i was informed that the project is on HOLD and i was asked to wait. Now its almost 25 days over since i am jobless due to this and when approached to collabera they wash off their hands by saying they are helpless and cant do anything on this without even providing any compensation or solution on the same and asking me to file case against HCL as it happened due to HCL project went on hold. But i agree to the fact that HCL is no were concerned for this issue. Hence i am repeatedly mailing them about by concern but there in no replies found from their end. 

SO NEVER EVER TRY COLLABERA!!! ITS A BIG TRAP TO SPOIL YOUR CAREER.

The Company will fool you out if you dont know market and salary packages offered around at different places.

Most of the employees who are placed at client side has nothing to do much with Collabera as you are working all the time at client and interacting with client employees.

The only good point is there is no much interference from collabera on your day to day matters as far as you fill your timesheets on time.

The worst part is since you dont know any other perso except the POC you are in touch with, you will face difficulty at the time of full and final settlement. First they will hold your pay for 2 months which is absurd compared to others and then I faced with wrong deduction as advance which never got credited and following up with them since last 10 months. 

Other cons are no job security and no incentives at all.

One needs to be very cautious before joining such Employee Manpower out sourcing Company like Collabera.

Collabera is an excellent organisation when it comes to the culture, however, the company is not as scaled as some of the other MNCs and hence, the hierarchical growth doesn’t happen on pure matrix driven basis. 

Overall management is great, however, as far as India Operations is concerned, there are a few non-deserving people who have been promoted to leadership roles just because that was the need of the hour.

Lastly, the compensation structure at Collabera, is relatively lower than the industry standards.

The best thing about Collabera is, the entire company works together like a family and people have an excellent connect with each other. Smallest of the achievements are celebrated like events here at Collabera.

In a nut shell, it’s a great company to be a part of, the learnings that you get here at Collabera are second to none, but after getting into leadership, if you aren’t growing with the pace that you desire (provided it’s realistic), you can think of switching to something that is better.

A typical day at work at Collabera is working on new requirements coming from client side, sourcing resumes, closing the candidates, getting them interviewed, and deals with overall end to end recruiting process.

I have learned how to work in a target oriented environment where some times number, quality and response time matters a lot

Hardest part of the job is the conversion ratio from client side.

Working on new and creative requirements, using new systems, talking to different people, understanding them, judging and analyzing them and researching with concentrated efforts are most enjoyable part of my job.

Its a US based IT Staffing and recruiting company which had started a new initiative to provide online training and certification on IT emerging technologies.

I was working under a high level platform surrounded with passionate and dedicated people.It was a tellecalling job by calling the IT professionals and convincing them to buy the courses, maintaining the daily records of interested candidates, repo building and keeping the brand image and keeping the monthly target in process.

I surely have become a better human being after having exp in this company, being more patient, motivated and dedicated.

Everyday is a enjoyable day if you are dedicated from inside though there were many ups and downs and negative energies but staying focused was the only option

The culture was pretty good, it was more like one family moving towards one goal to see the company reaching sky.

I have been working for more than 2 years but found that we don't have balanced work life and personal life, salary are paid very less (compared to the work load) to the employees working doing office job, facilities are given only to the sales personnel.
Management can only manipulate and get the work done from the employees, preference is given to the people who always believes "Boss is always right" and those people are only promoted.
Generally working hours should be 9 hours (including 1 hour break), but in Collabera it is 10 hours (including 1 hour break) which always gets stretched, and whenever company audit is done employees are asked by the management to lie to the auditors about working hours.
It is highly recommended not to work with such organization.
