Responsibilities in Faurecia:
• To support the assigned facility in the daily operations of Local and Wide Area network issues.
• Provide user support of information and communication business systems, telecommunications and related issues.
• Provide the support for all personal computers, printers, scanners and other peripherals as required.
• Responsible for installing miscellaneous software as required- SEP, LANDesk, ERP-QAD, etc...
• Responsible for maintenance and administration of the Private Branch Exchange (EPBX) Telecommunications System.
• Administer and support the Video & Voice Conference System as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the plant leadership and the Shared Services Coordinator.
• Support for the entire assigned facility infrastructure (Wiring, connections and punch downs).

Missions of the role in Faurecia:
• Server and domain administration & maintain & Monitor.
• User creation, Modification, deletion of user id & mailbox using IAM tool.
• Consolidation of server applications
• Support of the local network (configuration, installation and monitoring of network components)
• Operating (monitoring of system processes, Backup and Restore)
• Support of the local telephone & Network switchboards (IP switchboard)

Salary Point of view not much Scope since salary hike is average or below depending on Company`s Performance in the Financial Year. More scope for improving facilities and allowances to Employees.

   Working time is not fixed especially for entry level engineers. You need to work in shifts (1st and 2nd only) and there are often extension in working time due to amount of work no extra payment.
   Even with this drawback it is a good place to learn for an entry level engineer. I learned a lot about handling the projects, estimating and managing delivery deadlines with the costumer and simultaneously increasing the skills in using FEA (Finite element Analysis) software.
   Managers especially the Human resources is not very helpful and supportive to the employees. I think the job of human resources there is only to get new employees to work for them, they hardly care for their existing employees.

FAURECIA is one of the worldwide leaders in automobile equipment. Supplier of six major modules of the vehicle: seat, cockpit, door, acoustic package, front end & exhaust. Its customer’s are Renault, Peugeot, Toyota, Volkswagen, Ford, Audi & Daimler,Chrysler and many more.
Pune office where I work is recognised as design centre for Interior designs. The most interesting part of the job is that since we are serving to different OEMs we get opportunity to work on different products and get to learn new things. We support to US, Europe and China. This adds experience of working with multicultures.
