Giving VPN solution to the company for connecting all the location was the greatest achievement milestone. Earlier the same was decentralized and the regions were not on our domain server. Due to VPN today all our connected to common domain and it has helped IT to implement and apply all IT and security policies across region. Advantage of this solution is we can manage and maintain centrally all location which has helped us in looking at compliance issues also. Secondly we have saved on server cost and license cost due to removal of standalone server from each location. 

Due to my P & R skills I could  save 90000/- on laptops delivery which otherwise would have been a loss as the vendor was asking minimum 10 days delivery and we required the same in 5 days. I managed to convince him the urgency and made him collect the stock from all locations and deliver the same to us on time. This was very much appreciated by my seniors.

My interaction with vendors has enabled me to look at the long vision where we could bargain on cost and I ensured that the lease line upgrade to be done without additional cost. I have managed to do the same for 3 of our locations which helped the organization in getting high bandwidth alongwith cost reduction.

I have made our Data Centre vendor to reduce the annual AMC to half the price from next year by giving justification why the same has to be done which finally was agreed by the vendor. This was appreciated by my seniors as I took the initiative to do the same without being told.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing is best in Godrej Properties. Top management don't have basic knowledge of process except jugadu methods. No skill person/ fit for the position which they are handling. All looking for commission apart from their salary. No proper management skills people are having over their.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Everything are stressful, management, BD team, HR and Admin departments are working without proper planning. Due to which they are paying extra cost to 3rd party, but management don't bother all these issues.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
As per my understand, south zone environment and culture are worst except who are doing oiling to their respective HODs.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Not a single day, got mad after saw those worst environment and unhealthy culture in Godrej Properties south zone.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Co operation from seniors time to time and same to reciprocating my juniors. Targets are with in the role limit. I enjoyed a lot. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing much I have seen like that stress moment during the days in the field and office. Culture and deciplene with in company helpful for community.

Nice , As I had described earlier that environmental and cultural aspect is too much everyone enjoying.

I have experienced any bad stressful part other than negligible work related stress at times

Good and considerate work environment and good team support. I have observed no discrimination of any kind during the work

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Mostly good, with normal work tasks  and not much stress to handle.

No communication gap between junior and senior management, thereby very easy  to understand the work and execute the task. 
There are certain areas where water was flooding during rainy season and those used to be very hardest. 
Company organized R&R in every month, so all employees were having a healthy competition among each other which ultimately resulted a better growth of company.
Every individual have the scope to learn many things due to the interactive session with senior management. 
 

* 8 hrs shift 5 days a week. 

* Leading self, leading others and leading business.

* The management offers a very motivating, learn while you work kind of environment.

* Policies such as Flexi-Time, Work from Home and Part-Time Work has been designed to offer flexibility to strike an effective balance between work and personal commitments.

* The most enjoyable part is that you get the opportunity to celebrate almost all the festivals while you are at work with your co-workers.

This means that there is extreme workload on select departments considering that Pune is one of the growth regions for GPL.
GPL HR has been known for its employee centric initiatives.
Pay is good, benefits are also good.
There is no in or out time as such as long as the Department Head hasn't laid any guidelines.
Overall a good experience to have in Godrej Properties, Ltd.

IT HOD is the issue, do not have any clarity, no guidelines, no strategy, only have a strategy for his personal growth.
