Working here is exactly the same feeling you get when you go to a government office with any concern.
The smallest of approvals require multiple follow ups.
There is absolutely no professionalism in the way things are handled here.
The managers consider themselves as power houses and treat their subordinated with that kind of attitude.
It is really a place with lot of potential, but needs some serious rework at the management level.
The management would really have to dig deep into certain accounts/projects and maintain transparency in their processes.
Also the appraisal system is big question mark!! Since no one knows on what basis the system is set-up.
They also have some policies, which make life worse for an employee and which you will realize only after its too late.
Make sure to read your offer letter thoroughly before joining this place.

It seems everything is like an Indian government office here. Things are slow, people are  free. But Consultants are Happy/Unhappy depends on the client. I am working with an MNC Client from ITC. I am not at all happy with the client. In the last one year tenure I have worked an average of 11 hours per day there. Some option is there for additional benefits. But nothing is so flexible and viable there. After starting working with the client managers may come and visit once in a while. You wont feel any direct relationship with ITC. After joining I have bee sent to client location. Then i Never visited ITC. Its completely a mixed feeling. If you are getting an opportunity in the ITC Infotech campus itself it would be nice.

There very badly built up organization hierarchy could be found.  And you can see people flood up continue working in the same post for years. They are Relaxing. They are settled down. You may feel hard with even security persons available there.

While ITC Infotech offers stability, the lack of consistent and challenging project opportunities can be frustrating, particularly for professionals looking to build strong hands-on experience. Career growth and learning often require significant self-initiative outside regular project work. Better project allocation and faster exposure to core technical work would greatly improve the employee experience.

I have worked in companies  like Capgemini consulting,scan iT Thailand ,ilabs india but got a worse  experience working in ITC their are trees all over but their is no proper clean bathrooms, not proper canteen food ( people use to get cockroaches once the CEO need to eat in the company's canteen then he will know how pathetic it is).  I ate in the starting and had stomach ache so started bringing from home. Secondly their oven sometimes it works and sometimes not. The basic infra like chair are also not comfortable at all. In bathroom you won't find toilet papers and when questioned we came to know it is because of cost cutting. Hahahahahaha the management wants us to bring the paper also to bring from house so that we can wipe our back.

Learning curve at ITC Infotech has been fun and challenging at the same time. With support of seniors and managers it becomes motivating enough to reach your goals.
- A typical day at work will include problem solving, lots of research, Coding and discussion about various solutions & implementation benefits with co-workers at coffee places too.
- Learned UI Designing and market research about customer needs and how others are implementing it.
- Management is reachable for any concerns or doubts but gets difficult to pitch your ideas if it's un-conventional.
- Conniving the Management that breakthrough is not proven and risks involved can be calculated.
- Liberty to work at any time & access to whatever we might need for our research and experiments and co-workers are too much fun for my project.

Overall i had i good experience with ITC Infotech. I have enjoyed working here. I have learned lot many things here. I have enjoyed each and everyday working here. Ups and downs are part of everyone's life. All my collegues and managers have been great help.  One thing i have to say about ITC is the organisatiion provides a very good salary for people who join as Experienced but people who join as Freshers should not expect much hike. That is the only one experience which i did not like with ITC. Apart from that everything else in the organisation is good. I have organised so many events within our team ( Team size is 100 ) and my Managers have always encouraged me in all my work. So I would really miss ITC when i leave the organisation. So many thoughts running behind when it comes to ITC. But yet it is an unforgettable journey and I will always miss the Organisation after i leave.

8+ years of work experience in IT infrastructure Management and System Administration, Hands on experience in resolving   Windows server related issues.


•	Managing, Up gradation & migration Windows Server 2003 / 2008 / 2012
•	Systems functions including installation Virtual machines Hyper V 
•	DNS (fault tolerant / round-robin) DHCP,RDP,VPN and Server Backups, Patches
•	Regular checks the status of servers  both hardware and software upgrade installation and Patches activity
•	Maintaining Server health by checking Performance monitor logs, disk- space utilization, Events viewer 
reporting and taking corrective measures
•	Creating Reservations for DHCP client machines
•	Installation and configuration of IIS and FTP in Windows Server 2008, 2008R2.
•	Help Desk Remedy, Following procedures as per the ITIL Standard.

I would recommend to join this company if you are planning about your retirement. Work is appreciated but buttering is a major aspect. You have to have both or at least the latter to succeed in this organization. Some managers are good some are worse, its better to have less conversations with them. Its an organization of some 6500 employees all over the world, so if you are good at something almost everyone knows you. It has a beautiful campus in Bengaluru(The campus was my only motivation that I could survive there for two years).

It is also a good company if you are planning for higher studies as the work load isn't much and you have ample time to prepare for whichever exam you want to. Don't be afraid if your manager says he can fire you from the organization, I have heard a lot of this stuffs but no one gets fired(obviously if you are doing your work).

ITC got a big and green campus which makes it look really beautiful. Taking breaks from work gives real calmness in such an environment, There is not much work pressure and people are not getting fired frequently so it gives a kind of job security, 

Some downsides are that, it does not get a lot of projects so growth in terms of career path or financially is not at par. Moreover most of the policies are not very employee friendly and Management does not really give an ear to employees. Being small part of big non IT group, it is too much hierarchical and bands matter a lot. 

Keeping downsides aside, if someone get good project to work, there are enough scopes of learning,

The HR is pathetically bad and the company polices are not employees centric, you must have good cry baby skills and work really hard to get what you want, they hire shoe licking  team lead what customer will recommend. They give no importance to actual talent and will let you go and make your life so miserable that even if you do not have any job still you will take the courage to leave this pathetic company.  Zero increment they will give , maximum hike is 4% ,they don't care about you and your work and trap you in a vicious circle.  Rest if you really need job you can join her without any expectations.
