A typical busy day as in any other healthcare profession, assessing patients in out patient department (In-patient Dept. including Cardio-thoracic rehabilitation, Pediatric rehabilitation, Neurological rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation where assessing patients for Fitness level using Primus machine, treating national and local athletes and enthusiast for fatigue, trigger point release and improving strength, treating them, setting goals and outcomes of the treatment, health education and home-exercise program. I learnt a lot from the seniors, colleagues and patients, about how to handle patients, care provision, ethics to be followed, managing time and patients at one time, way of approaching patients and their attenders. My co-workers were quite helpful, I learnt from them how to progress in the field, they helped me improve my knowledge about  clinical conditions and management through various case discussions and learning they had. The hardest part of the job was it requires your continuous presence with patients and sometimes leaves you stressed and demands heavy physical work in case of patients with neurological conditions such as Stroke, where the Physiotherapist is supposed to give them passive movements to enhance mobility of the joints, using neuro dynamics to improve their spasticity/rigidity or in case of children with cerebral palsy or acute mental retardness where Physiotherapist have to be with children providing neuro developmental therapy and making them walk with the use of prosthesis devices. The most enjoyable part of the job is feeling of being with a patient for a long time and see them improving with you and your help, the increase in patient's condition and confidence from day one to last day of therapy, smile on their face and relatives, a proud moment.

I have worked in this hospital as a pharmacist, None of the employees are supportive and the management sucks. I got my employee ID after one month of joining and every day I had to go to the HR department for the ID. I did not get any offer letter or joining letter, they were like we will give tomorrow, will give it next week and all. About the salary, They pay peanuts for employees.
I was promised to get 13500 per moth (450 per Day, office sweepers will get more than this, LOL) But when I got my first salary it was 7800/- only. I did not understand the calculation, and i can't cross check it also because I don't have a offer letter or a salary breakdown. So I went to the Accounts and HR department to clear my doubts, Then they gave me a salary breakdown (They had it ready with them before, they just don't wanna give it)

And in the breakdown 

Basic : 7064
HRA : 2119
Conveyance : 1600
Medical Allowance : 940
Hospital Allowance : 50
Gross : 11773 (Ideally I supposed to get this much in my account)
PF : 848
Gratuity : 340
ESI : 559
CTC  : 13520

From this I figured out that I supposed to get 11773 as my salary, And I got 7800 (260 per day)
I asked the HR about this and they said you will get 1026 rupees after all deduction, I did not understand that calculation also.


Please Help me if you figure out their calculation

•	Communicating and updating feedbacks to the administrative and medical heads of the department for an effective redressal on a day-to day basis for root cause analysis/corrective/ preventive action to avoid the recurrence for negative feedbacks.

•	Updating the customers on defined time schedule of the progress on the action initiated on the feedbacks.

•	Ensuring proper documentation and record maintenance.

•	Intervene and resolve in critical issues.

•	Conducting weekly feedback review meetings with the department heads pertaining to recurrent concerns.

•	Motivating the departments to improve the services to achieve customer satisfaction.

•	Preparing power point presentation on trend analysis of the departments and circulating to the HODs for necessary action to improve their respective area.

•	Present trends and performance in management review meetings.

•	Handle feedbacks received through various channels such as: 
	Feedbacks from walk-in customer
	Written feedbacks
	Electronic feedbacks( Emails)
	Voice of customer( 1234- Telephonic complaints)
	Feedback forms from out-patient and inpatient areas.

The best part is any staff can walk into the Unit chief's chamber with any problem and come out with a smile ! :) 

I sincerely wouldn't have wished to exit the family , but , i have other other personal and professional objectives to fulfill . 

Overall , best place to work and you can always try out new and innovative things. You won't be let down.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
You should be ready to tolerate pathetic third grade managers and management guys who are not having any kind of professional experience in medical field nor degree from good institutions and knows only cheap business strategies. As a doctor you feel horrible to work with these cheap unprofessional MBA guys who are utter useless and arrogant ro the core. To work here you should down grade yourselves to their level being a professional.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Most horrible and pathetic toxic politics happens here.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stressful and pathetic as you get worked up with unwanted stuff than concentrating on your professional work.

A typical day at work in the Nephrology ward on a morning shift would start getting a report from the night nurses regarding the patients. Then we would do our paper work and start with going to all of our assigned patients. We started by greeting all our patients and start morning medicines for all the patients. Then came Doctors rounds and the typical work of a nurse to organize all of the patients needs and all the procedures that had to be done.  Then came the afternoon medicines if they were needed, checking infusions, checking the catheters, tubings and recording input and output charts and maintaining a good relationship with your patients. Before we knew it the evening shift nurses would arrive and we would be giving our report of the patients. This was usually our typical day at work.

I joined fresh out of college, was glad to be part of such a large organisation. It taught me end to end on branding and marketing activities. Dealing with doctors and patients and their stressed lives. It was a highly satisfying job as i wen back home feeling happy as it saved so many families from losing their loved ones. We have long hour days at work but kept me happy as we were working for the greater good and saving the lives of so many people. The most enjoyable part of work was I got to learn every day about the body and the science and art of medicine which I am extremely passionate about. The work place culture was absoluteling brilliant and welcoming.

I have 4 years of experience then also manipal management gave me junior technician post, no salary growth and am disappointed 😞 with this management... There is no value of technician. 
All the facility they provide to staff nurse . Like 6hrs duty for nurses and for technician 8 hrs duty 
. Salary growth is more than then technician staff nurse salary freshers 20k + or technician freshers 17k  in dialysis department. That's not fare 
Team leader  don't take any responsibility only junior staff has to suffer.
