A typical day at Payless shoes included dealing with customers on a regular basis. I was able to communicate with customers, find out what they were looking for and suggest products that suited their needs. When it was quiet there was plenty of work to do, cleaning, unpacking and displaying stock and paperwork were the main tasks. I learnt many skills that helped me manage the store. I was able to deal calmly with customer complaints and find a suitable solution to their problems. I also became more confident and was able to train the new employees when needed.

The management there was wonderful, they were easy to talk to and always helpful. The stores had at four people working with in them and I was able to get along with everyone there so that we could work as a team.

The most enjoyable part of the job was the opportunity to work with a great team and achieving our daily/weekly targets.

I love to work such a great company and brand payless

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Heavy workload, stocks were received without prices and tags 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very enjoyable and very good experience 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
During Ramdan months received 100 boxes of delivery,  We have to display same day those stocks on the floor. Otherwise again next-day delivery will be ready

i work as Assistant Store Manager at Payless Shoesources, alshaya company.i help the store manager oversee the daily retail operations and staff,handle ad monitor the prioritize of workflow.im often work on sales floor in addition to handling Customer Complaints and working to resolve issues.

I worked for payless for 3 year's. I loved my job as a key carrier, then promoted as a assistant manager. I miss that job. Some people were very nice, while others were a bit rude. I still did my best to ensure a great experience at our store. I wish we didn't go bankrupt.
