A typical day at work involved engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and presenting suitable solutions or products. I also had daily discussions with my team and seniors to plan strategies and review performance, which kept me motivated and aligned with my goals.

I learned how to communicate confidently with clients, handle objections tactfully, and build trust. I also gained practical knowledge about how sales processes, teamwork, and customer relationship management operate in real time. Most importantly, I learned the value of discipline, patience, and persistence in achieving results.

Management:
The management was very supportive and approachable. They guided us throughout our tasks, provided regular feedback, and ensured we were learning something valuable each day. Their mentoring helped me grow both professionally and personally.

The workplace culture was not very positive. It felt like just individuals doing separate jobs,There was lot of pressure regarding the work which was provided to us.

The Hardest Part of the Job:
The most challenging part was convincing hesitant customers and handling rejections positively. Initially, it felt tough, but over time, I learned to see every “no” as an opportunity to improve my approach.

The Most Enjoyable Part of the Job:
The most enjoyable part was interacting with different people daily and celebrating small successes — like closing a deal or getting appreciation from a client. It gave me a sense of achievement and boosted my confidence.

I joined this firm as a Management Trainee after my MBA and worked for 4 very long years of my life.

You will be made to do repetitive tasks such as data entry and proofreading proposal forms all day.
There is a huge disparity between the work culture in the regional offices and the head office. 
If you are posted in a regional office, be ready to be ridiculed by people sitting at the head office. They act as if they own you.
The HR policies regarding encouraging education and compensatory leaves only exist on paper. However, in reality you get nothing.
Although you get around 35 leaves in a year, it would be a miracle if you are allowed to even take 15 of them. Even those 10-15 leaves that you take would feel like the manager has done you a huge favour by 'granting' those leaves to you.
From a learning point of view, if you are an MBA from a reputed institute, I would suggest you better stay away from this firm. I don't understand why they even hire MBAs for such low skill roles. A Management Trainee from a top-tier school is not required for the kind of work that they have.

HERE JOB NOT SECURED.As I worked at Dhenkanal,odisha Branch as Agency Manager.Here I found the Branch Manager has no idea about managing people under him,He only guided by the BM of cuttack.What he say only obey him and unfortunately and forcefullythey take my regination letter after all I did avarage business and recruit 13 advisors within 7 months with my all force whihout there is no branch settle at that time and I also write a mail to Hr about it.But sadly I hv not got a reply from Human Resourse team about it.Also I earned about Rs30,000 as incentive from sbi life,sadly it also not yet get from sbilic.
This company is the best life Insurance company for promoting and sale insurance as a big brand logo and very easy to sell,But if ur senior target u,u vanish from job as soon as possible,so beware to ur senior,no one can save u .

The day starts at 9:30 am but doesn't have a fixed end. Late sitting is a normal thing. 
You get to learn a lot about corporate culture and with various interactions you start to realise that the company has a good rules and regulations on paper but not in reality.
The management is bad, with constant pressure to perform even at the cost of your health, family etc.
At individual level people are good. But at management level the overall work culture is poor. Lots of expectations with no recognition of work.
Hardest part is to work on weekends till late on many occasions.
The enjoyable part is interactions with your colleagues who are going through the same trauma as you, and an on time salary
