Organization is very bureaucratic, like a government office. Very low hikes in very small range - everyone will get between 5-10% no matter how well or poorly they perform, so there is very limited incentive for high performers. This is why most people are unwilling to put any additional efforts - simply come to office, take long lunch breaks and go home before shift ends. Promotions are also rare and stifled with same bureaucracy - minimum 2 years wait for promotion, and it stretches much beyond that since things like seniority play a huge role. Someone who has been for 5 years at current role will be preferred for promotion over you even if they are less deserving. So attrition of high performers is high - only mediocre and low performers are here for the long haul.

People in the team are supportive. Atleast in the team I worked. Good number of timeoffs available.

The work can get mundane pretty quickly. Inexperienced technical L2 support team in various teams.

Overall, UBS has a good work culture. You are asked to work atleast 3 days from office.

It can get hectic at times but overall the colleagues are chill and calm.

If someone is looking for a retirement organization then UBS is one. Excellent work life balance, and amazing management and a decent package. The only pros is the professional growth.


I am full time employee in UBS and the culture is very nice to work.
Company is having their own transport system for their employee for door to door.

One need to be highly flexible and adaptable to meet the business need. Very high expectations from the management and company is adopting agile in every aspect of the work
