In a day I use to fill the timesheet of previous day working hours, so that it helps for accounts department, also I start the day with discussion with colleagues related to the job status and meeting their schedules.

I learned many technical related & soft skills related ideas while undergoing engineering in the projects for better & efficient execution.

I used to  manage things that within my limitation also help peers whenever there in trouble with job completion.

My co-workers are very co-operative and used to complete the assignments within stipulated time.

Programming language part I found it as the hardest part of my job.

I enjoy my job in writing the Digital logic's & Complex loops generation & debugging to get the fruit full output and gives me full concentration, confidence & satisfaction.

I joined Yokogawa India Limited as a Trainee Engineer in Sep, 2011 and underwent through a rigorous training session of 1 month which helped me  gain lot of knowledge about the Yokogawa tools(hardware and software). Immediately after the training was over, I was put into a project (South Pars Gas Field & Development) as a DCS Project Engineer and my managers and team lead were very helpful in guiding me through the whole project. To have a good exposure, I was being sent to Dubai to conduct the FAT along with my team lead. Further on due to good technical skills, I was being sent to TAKREER site in Abu Dhabi to successfully complete all the activities related to DCS Hardware including the networking of the panels as well as the activities related to Project Management. This real time exposure helped gain a lot of confidence and knowledge as well as made me capable enough to handle pressure situations in real time scenarios.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES   :

CS 3000 & R5-Centum System Engineering
 
	Study of Customer Specification and Understanding Customer Requirements
	Review of System architecture, P&IDs, IODB, Software design flow and preparation of Functional Design Specification (FDS) document.
	Usage of engineering tools - yGET & Yokogawa Engineering tools
	Cause and effect generation and debugging.
	Generation of graphic Link Parts.
	Generation of TREND group for Analog inputs.
	Generation of Function key assignments, control groups, overview assignment etc.
	Overview Generation, and all sort of HMI related jobs for CS3000/Centum VP.
	Graphics Generation using P&ID sheets and other Functional Design Specification documents
	Generation involving Static and Dynamic Graphics, Line modifiers.
	Modifications according to the customer requirements/comments.
	Pre-FAT Recovery due to Customer's Specification Changes.
	Generation of loops (open, closed, cascade) & debugging.

- Yokagawa IA Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. (YTI) work timing is from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
- Explored and learnt a new domain i.e. Industrial Automation.
- Mangement followed an open door policy that helped the employees to voice their concerns if any and the management considers it with an open mind.
- Co-workers are very friendly, supportive, and helpful
- The products that are developed in Yokogawa are installed on systems in the control room of a plant. It was a challenge to know how the product works. However, we had other alternatives that helped the Technical Publication team to develop documents.

If your aim is retirement, get hired by this company.
The Company is a less Private more government type.
Once the projects started, expect at least 2 years to complete. Relax, enjoy the life.
Here you will complete more health and safety surveys than projects.
Company charges fees to their client on a sub par level below market rates, which the other company follows. Then hire employees on less salary, make them sign a compulsory bond of 2-3 years.
Beware of HR conning you in your CTC.

Managing the entire gamut of logistics operations; preparing ASN, delivery & quality notes, MIS reports, transit documents and excise invoices using SAP
Designing strategies for transportation, vendor development, asset management, and so on entailing process optimization and location planning
Directing and coordinating comprehensive logistical and reverse logistical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse and final disposal of resources

* Working hours from 8AM to 4.30 PM, Sometimes have to stretch
*Learnt how to manage the deadlines and deliver within agreed date to customers
* Co-workers learnt some technical and personal management skills.
* Hardest part of the job was when we go to End User i.e Commissioning plant location and deploying our system.
* Most Enjoyable part of the work is automating the manual works, like writes codes in excel to reduce manual intervention.

Yokogawa has excellent Product design, Quality, manufacturing procedures and processes. It is completely process driven company with good human beings as employees.

But management does not trust the people , no guidance and support given, career progress is very slow, increments are not worth talking about

I worked in Yokogawa for almost 5 years and accordingly to me, this is one of the best organization where one can nurture his/her technical as well as administrative skills.Furthermore, It is an equal opportunity employer and emphasizes on job security.
