Key Responsibilities
Training & Facilitation
- Conduct engaging Speech and Drama sessions.
- Train students in voice modulation, articulation, public speaking, storytelling, improvisation, role play, character building, and stage presence.
- Foster creativity, confidence, teamwork, critical thinking, and communication through theatre-based activities.
- Prepare students for annual showcases, competitions, assemblies, and school events.
- Manage classroom discipline while creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
Curriculum Development
- Deliver sessions in line with the organisation's curriculum framework.
- Customise lesson delivery based on the learning needs of different age groups.
- Develop creative classroom activities, scripts, theatre games, and performance exercises.
- Contribute ideas towards curriculum enhancement and innovative teaching methodologies.
Event Preparation, Administrative & Collaborative Work
- Assist in planning and executing annual productions, showcases, competitions, and school performances.
- Maintain attendance, session reports, assessment records, and student progress documentation.
- Coordinate with school coordinators and internal teams for the smooth execution of sessions and events.
- Participate in inductions, training programmes, meetings, and professional development workshops conducted by the organisation.
- Travel regularly to assigned schools within the Navi Mumbai region.
Who Can Apply?
- Graduates or postgraduates in Theatre, Performing Arts, English, Mass Media, Education, Psychology, Literature, or related fields.
- Candidates with prior experience in Speech & Drama, Theatre, Public Speaking, or workshop facilitation.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills, theatre experience, and a passion for teaching are encouraged to apply.
- Individuals who enjoy working with children and creating engaging learning experiences
