The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day site execution, coordination with contractors and workers, checking construction quality, monitoring material usage, maintaining progress records, and ensuring that work is completed according to drawings, specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily civil, structural, finishing, plumbing, electrical, and related construction activities.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, vendors, and labour teams.
- Ensure that work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and instructions.
- Monitor the quality of concrete, brickwork, plaster, flooring, waterproofing, painting, false ceiling, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other finishes.
- Check line, level, dimensions, measurements, and workmanship at every stage.
- Prepare daily site progress reports, labour reports, and material consumption records.
- Monitor project timelines and report any delay, shortage, or site issue immediately.
- Verify quantities of work completed by contractors and assist in checking contractor bills.
- Maintain records of material received, issued, used, and remaining at site.
- Prevent wastage, pilferage, damage, and misuse of construction material.
- Ensure proper storage of cement, steel, tiles, sanitary items, electrical items, and finishing materials.
- Coordinate material requirements and inform management in advance to avoid work stoppages.
- Ensure compliance with site safety practices and use of safety equipment.
- Maintain site discipline, cleanliness, and proper deployment of labour.
- Conduct regular snagging and ensure timely rectification of defects.
- Provide photographs, videos, and progress updates to management.
- Be available to supervise both residential and commercial project requirements, as assigned.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
- Candidates with strong practical construction experience may also apply.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in residential or commercial building construction.
- Good understanding of civil construction, finishing work, MEP coordination, drawings, and measurements.
- Ability to read architectural, structural, plumbing, and electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of construction materials, labour productivity, and quality standards.
- Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and contractor billing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Honest, disciplined, punctual, and capable of taking responsibility for the site.
- Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, Excel, and mobile applications for site reporting.
- Must be willing to travel between project sites, where required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in both residential and commercial construction.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings.
- Experience with RCC, masonry, waterproofing, interiors, and finishing works.
- Ability to handle multiple contractors and labour teams.
- Strong problem-solving and site-management skills.
- Own two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
