Role Summary
The TMS L2 Investigator is responsible for reviewing transaction monitoring alerts, conducting detailed investigations, and identifying potential suspicious activity. The role requires strong AML investigation skills, sound risk assessment, and experience in preparing or supporting Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs). The successful candidate should be adaptable and willing to learn cryptocurrency and blockchain-related investigations.
Key Responsibilities
· Review and investigate Level 2 (L2) transaction monitoring alerts.
· Analyze customer profiles, transaction history, and supporting information.
· Identify suspicious activity and determine appropriate disposition.
· Conduct detailed investigations and document findings with clear rationale.
· Prepare, review, or support Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
· Escalate complex or high-risk cases as required.
· Ensure compliance with AML/CFT regulations, internal policies, and client requirements.
· Meet quality, productivity, and SLA targets.
· Participate in training related to cryptocurrency and blockchain investigations, where applicable.
Required Experience
· 2–6 years of AML Transaction Monitoring investigation experience.
· Hands-on experience performing TMS/L2 investigations.
· Experience in preparing, reviewing, or supporting SARs.
· Strong knowledge of AML regulations and financial crime typologies.
· Excellent analytical, decision-making, and documentation skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Flexible to work noon–night shifts as per business requirements.
Preferred Skills
· Exposure to cryptocurrency, blockchain, or virtual asset investigations is an advantage but not mandatory.
· Experience with blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Chainalysis, TRM Labs, or Elliptic) is a plus.
· AML certifications are preferred.
· Willingness to learn crypto-related financial crime typologies and investigation techniques
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
