The Manager / Senior Manager – Placements will be responsible for driving campus placements, corporate engagement, internship programs, employer branding, and industry collaborations. The role requires building long-term relationships with leading design studios, multinational companies, startups, creative agencies, retail brands, technology firms, consulting organizations, and global employers to maximize placement opportunities for students.
The ideal candidate should possess strong corporate networking skills, a deep understanding of the creative and design ecosystem, and experience managing end-to-end campus recruitment.
- Develop and execute the annual placement strategy aligned with institutional objectives.
- Build strong relationships with HR leaders, Talent Acquisition teams, founders, and business leaders across industries.
- Identify and onboard new recruiters for campus hiring.
- Maintain relationships with existing corporate partners to ensure repeat hiring.
- Promote the institution as a preferred talent partner among industry leaders.
- Manage end-to-end campus placement activities for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
- Achieve annual placement targets in terms of placement percentage, salary packages, and recruiter participation.
- Coordinate campus recruitment drives, virtual hiring events, interviews, assessments, and selection processes.
- Ensure seamless interaction between recruiters, faculty, and students.
- Facilitate mandatory internships for students.
- Develop opportunities for live industry projects and sponsored design challenges.
- Collaborate with organizations for capstone projects and experiential learning initiatives.
