We are looking for an experienced Tailor Master to oversee garment stitching, cutting, fitting, and quality control. The candidate will be responsible for supervising tailors, ensuring high-quality production, meeting deadlines, and maintaining garment specifications according to customer or production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Take accurate body measurements and understand customer requirements.
- Prepare garment patterns and perform fabric cutting.
- Supervise stitching, alterations, and finishing of garments.
- Ensure garments meet quality and design standards.
- Guide and train junior tailors and helpers.
- Allocate work and monitor daily production targets.
- Inspect finished garments for fit, finish, and quality.
- Coordinate with designers, customers, or production teams.
- Maintain sewing machines and ensure proper use of tailoring equipment.
- Minimize fabric wastage and optimize material usage.
- Follow workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- ITI in Sewing Technology, Fashion Design, or equivalent (preferred).
- Minimum 10th/12th pass.
- Professional tailoring certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 3–10+ years of experience as a Tailor Master, Master Cutter, or Senior Tailor.

- Pattern making and garment cutting.
- Expert stitching and alteration skills.
- Knowledge of different fabrics and garment construction.
- Ability to read garment designs and measurements.
