Responsible for ensuring the safety of swimmers and visitors in and around pools, beaches, or water facilities. Monitors activities, prevents accidents, responds to emergencies, and provides first aid when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor swimming areas and enforce safety rules.
- Observe swimmers and identify potential risks or dangerous behavior.
- Perform water rescues when necessary.
- Administer first aid and CPR in emergencies.
- Maintain rescue equipment and ensure it is in good condition.
- Keep the pool/beach area clean and safe.
- Report incidents and complete required documentation.
- Assist guests and provide information about facility rules.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Lifeguard certification from a recognized organization.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong swimming and rescue skills.
- Ability to stay alert and react quickly.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness and stamina
