About the role
Madrid Software is looking for enthusiastic and result-oriented Academic Counsellors / Senior Academic Counsellors to join our admissions team in Delhi. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for counselling prospective students, understanding their career aspirations, and guiding them toward the most suitable training programs.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to convert enquiries into admissions while delivering an exceptional counselling experience. The role involves managing the complete admission cycle, from lead generation and counselling to enrolment and post-admission support.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students through phone calls, virtual meetings, and face-to-face interactions.
- Understand students' educational background, career goals, and learning requirements to recommend suitable courses.
- Handle inbound and outbound enquiries and convert leads into successful admissions.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication throughout the admission process.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets while maintaining high conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions using CRM software.
- Coordinate with the academic and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for students.
- Resolve student queries related to courses, fees, schedules, certifications, and career opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and enrolled students.
- Participate in promotional events, seminars, webinars, education fairs, and admission drives whenever required.
- Stay updated on the institute's courses, industry trends, and career opportunities to provide accurate guidance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–5 years of experience as an Academic Counsellor, Senior Academic Counsellor, Admission Counsellor, Education Counsellor, or in a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proven experience in lead generation, student counselling, admissions, and sales conversion.
- Ability to achieve admission targets and work in a target-driven environment.
- Good knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship management skills.
- Prior experience in the EdTech, Education, Training, or Skill Development industry will be preferred.
Pay Range- Rs 25000 - Rs 35000 (depending upon the experience)
