We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Academic Counselor to guide prospective students in selecting suitable educational programs and support them throughout the admission process. The ideal candidate should possess excellent counseling, communication, and sales skills, with the ability to achieve admission targets while maintaining high standards of student satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding available courses, career opportunities, and admission procedures.
- Understand students' educational backgrounds, career aspirations, and recommend suitable programs.
- Convert inquiries into admissions by providing accurate and timely guidance.
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and in-person meetings.
- Meet monthly and quarterly admission targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents throughout the enrollment process.
- Handle objections professionally and provide appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate with the admissions, academic, finance, and operations teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, counseling sessions, and admissions in the CRM system.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Mentor and support junior academic counselors to improve their performance.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and promotional events.
- Stay updated on institutional policies, academic programs, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in academic counseling, admissions, education sales, or student recruitment.
- Experience in universities, colleges, educational institutions, or ed-tech organizations is preferred.
