An executive assistant provides high-level administrative, organizational, and strategic support to corporate leaders, VPs, or C-suite executives. You can review standard templates and best practices on platforms like Indeed or Workable to draft a specific role.
- Calendar Management: Maintain complex schedules, book appointments, and prevent daily conflicts.
- Communication Filtering: Screen emails, answer phone calls, and act as the primary liaison between the executive and internal or external partners.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange detailed domestic and international travel itineraries, flights, and accommodations.
- Information & Reporting: Prepare meeting agendas, compile reports, create presentations, and track expense reports.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive corporate and personal information with strict discretion.
- Project Support: Oversee ad-hoc special projects, coordinate resources, and follow up on pending action items.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in an administrative role supporting upper management.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Tech Fluency: Strong proficiency in office software like Microsoft Office 365 or Google Workspace, with a fast aptitude for digital workflow tools.
- Organization: Superior time-management abilities, multitasking skills, and acute attention to detail.
