Job Title: Senior Butler
Location: Colaba, Mumbai
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Senior Butler to oversee and deliver exceptional household service for a luxury private residence. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in luxury hospitality or private household service and possess excellent leadership, organizational, and guest service skills.
The Senior Butler will be responsible for managing daily household service operations, supervising junior staff, coordinating with other household departments, and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, discretion, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized and discreet service to the principals and their guests.
- Supervise and guide junior butlers, stewards, and service staff.
- Coordinate with the House Manager, Executive Chef, Housekeeping, Drivers, and other household staff to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Oversee formal dining service, table settings, silver service, and beverage service.
- Welcome and assist VIP guests, ensuring exceptional hospitality standards.
- Manage pantry operations, dining inventories, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
- Assist with travel preparations, packing/unpacking, wardrobe management, and special requests.
- Coordinate household events, private dinners, and special occasions.
- Ensure all service areas are maintained to luxury hospitality standards.
- Train household staff on etiquette, service standards, and SOPs.
- Maintain complete confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Butler, with experience in a Senior Butler or supervisory role preferred.
- Experience in luxury private residences, palaces, embassies, yachts, or 5-star luxury hotels.
- Strong knowledge of formal dining, silver service, international etiquette, and VIP hospitality.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to supervise and train household service staff.
- Professional appearance with impeccable grooming standards.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Butler certification or Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
- Experience working with HNI/UHNI families, royalty, or international clients.
- Knowledge of wine service and luxury household management is an advantage.
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
