About the Role
Arowana Corporations Pvt. Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic and motivated GIS Engineers (Freshers) to join our growing geospatial team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are passionate about Geographic Information Systems (GIS), mapping technologies, and spatial data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with geospatial data and GIS software to support project requirements.
- Analyze, process, and manage spatial datasets.
- Perform GIS mapping, digitization, editing, and quality checks.
- Generate maps, reports, and spatial analysis outputs.
- Ensure data accuracy and maintain project quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and deliverables.
- Follow company processes and project guidelines.
Eligibility
- Any Graduation Degree or Diploma.
- M.Sc. Geoinformatics candidates will be given preference.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of GIS concepts and mapping.
- Familiarity with GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS is an added advantage.
- Understanding of spatial data formats (Shapefile, GeoTIFF, etc.).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Salary & Benefits
- ₹12,000/month – Any Graduation/Diploma
- ₹15,000/month – M.Sc. Geoinformatics
