Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing data pipelines and databases to support analytics and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from multiple sources.
- Develop ETL/ELT processes for efficient data flow.
- Work with data warehouses and databases such as SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business teams to understand data requirements.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
- Optimize data processing performance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Basic understanding of Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline concepts.
- Knowledge of databases and data warehousing.
- Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field.
- Certifications in cloud/data engineering are an advantage.
- Internship or project experience in data engineering is preferred.
