Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented QA/QC Manager to lead our Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments in Gandhidham. The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of product quality, food safety compliance, laboratory operations, and international regulatory standards across all our processing and export product lines.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Systems & Certifications: Maintain, audit, and enhance integrated management systems for FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, GMP+ FSA, Halal, Kosher, and FSSAI.
Audit Leadership: Lead internal quality audits and serve as the primary point of contact for external, regulatory, third-party, and customer audits.
Lab & Testing Management: Oversee raw material, inline processing, and finished goods testing for hydrocolloids, spices, herbs, grains, and agro-products.
Supplier & Raw Material Quality: Establish raw material specs, evaluate supplier quality, and resolve vendor non-conformances.
Export Compliance: Ensure all outgoing shipments comply with country-specific import/export regulations, phytosanitary requirements, and customer quality parameters.
CAPA & Continuous Improvement: Drive root-cause analyses for customer complaints and internal non-conformances; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Team Leadership & Training: Direct and train the QA/QC team, lab technicians, and plant personnel on food safety policies, hygiene protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Agro-Processing, or a related scientific field.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in QA/QC leadership, preferably within food processing, hydrocolloids/gums, spices, or agro-export industries.
Certifications: Lead Auditor certification in FSSC 22000 / ISO 22000 or training in HACCP/GMP+ is highly desirable.
Key Skills: Deep understanding of laboratory instrumentation, analytical testing methods, export documentation standards, regulatory compliance, and team management.
