Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, layouts, and product specifications using CAD software. Prepare engineering drawings, assemblies, and manufacturing documentation. Review and interpret design concepts, technical requirements, and customer specifications. Coordinate with design, engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability. Modify existing designs based on engineering changes and production feedback. Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and quality requirements. Maintain drawing revisions, technical documentation, and Bill of Materials (BOM). Support prototype development, testing, and product validation activities. Identify opportunities for design improvements, cost reduction, and process optimization. Provide technical support during product development and manufacturing.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field. 6–8 years of experience in technical design, product development, or engineering design. Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Siemens NX, or Autodesk Inventor. Experience in creating manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and tolerance analysis. Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and production methods. Familiarity with BOM preparation and engineering change management. Good understanding of design standards and quality systems. Required Skills:
