Tender Manager (MEP)
Role Overview:
The Tender Manager will be responsible for managing the entire tendering process in the
MEP sector, from bid preparation to submission. This role requires strong technical
knowledge of MEP systems, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate with
cross-functional teams to deliver competitive and compliant proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender preparation: Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to
prepare accurate bids.
Cost estimation: Develop detailed cost breakdowns for mechanical, electrical,
plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Bid strategy: Formulate competitive pricing strategies aligned with company
objectives.
Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to
gather inputs.
Compliance check: Ensure all submissions meet client requirements, legal
standards, and company policies.
Client interaction: Clarify tender queries and maintain professional
communication with clients.
Documentation: Maintain records of tenders, contracts, and bid outcomes for
future reference.
Qualifications:
Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical
Engineering or related field.
Experience: 5–8 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or project
management within the MEP industry.
Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and
fire protection systems.
Soft skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
