Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machine Programmer to join our manufacturing team in Mohali. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CNC programming, machine setup, and process optimization. Candidates must have experience in the bath fittings or automobile manufacturing industry and possess strong knowledge of machining processes and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit, and optimize CNC programs for production.
- Set up CNC machines and ensure accurate machining as per engineering drawings.
- Interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters.
- Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot programming or machine-related issues.
- Optimize cycle times to improve productivity and reduce machining costs.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and maintain product quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Maintain CNC program records and documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining operations.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tooling selection, feeds, and speeds.
- Good understanding of machining processes, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience as a CNC Machine Programmer.
- Experience in the Bath Fittings or Automobile Manufacturing industry is mandatory.
- Good understanding of CNC machining centers and production processes.
- Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Mohali will be preferred.
Salary: Up to ₹25,000 per month
