Mahindra Solariz is looking for an enthusiastic and technically competent Technical Business Development Associate to join our team in Kottayam. This role is ideal for candidates with an engineering background who are passionate about sales, marketing, and renewable energy.
The Associate will be responsible for driving business development, supporting marketing initiatives, providing technical consultation to customers, coordinating project execution, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from lead generation to project completion.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Generate new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
- Identify and develop relationships with dealers, electrical contractors, builders, architects, consultants, and channel partners.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and presentations to promote Mahindra Solariz rooftop solar solutions.
- Prepare quotations and techno-commercial proposals in coordination with the technical team.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to territory growth.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Support local marketing campaigns, promotional events, exhibitions, and customer awareness programs.
- Generate qualified leads through field marketing, referrals, digital campaigns, and networking activities.
- Build Mahindra Solariz's brand presence in the assigned territory.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback to management.
Technical Support & Project Coordination
- Conduct preliminary site surveys and collect technical information required for system design.
- Coordinate with the design, engineering, procurement, and installation teams to ensure timely project execution.
- Track project progress, maintain communication with customers, and ensure successful project completion.
- Assist customers with documentation, approvals, and post-installation support.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, and customer database.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity and sales reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of sales and project activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related engineering discipline.
- Diploma holders with relevant industry experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, project coordination, or technical support.
- Experience in the solar, electrical, renewable energy, construction, engineering, or industrial sectors is preferred.
- Fresh engineering graduates with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in technical sales and project coordination are encouraged to apply.
