Position: Middle School Coordinator

Reporting To: Principal / Vice Principal
Position Overview
The Middle School Coordinator is responsible for providing academic and administrative leadership for Grades VI to VIII (or as assigned), ensuring the effective implementation of the curriculum, high standards of teaching and learning, student well-being, and smooth day-to-day operations of the Middle School. The role involves close collaboration with teachers, students, parents, and school leadership to foster academic excellence and holistic student development.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and delivery of the Middle School curriculum.
- Ensure effective teaching practices and adherence to the school's academic standards.
- Monitor lesson planning, classroom instruction, assessments, and student progress.
- Support teachers in curriculum planning, instructional strategies, and classroom management.
- Promote innovative and student-centered teaching methodologies.
Staff Management
- Supervise, mentor, and guide Middle School teachers.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify professional development needs and facilitate training programmes.
- Coordinate teacher schedules, substitutions, and academic responsibilities.
Student Development
- Monitor students' academic performance, attendance, discipline, and overall well-being.
- Work closely with class teachers, counsellors, and boarding staff to address academic and behavioural concerns.
- Encourage student leadership, participation, and holistic development.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Parent Engagement
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and school initiatives.
- Conduct parent meetings and address academic concerns in coordination with the Principal and Vice Principal.
- Support the resolution of parent queries in a timely and professional manner.
Academic Administration
- Prepare academic calendars, examination schedules, and assessment plans.
- Ensure timely completion of report cards, records, and academic documentation.
- Monitor curriculum coverage and academic compliance.
- Coordinate internal examinations and standardised assessments.
Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with Heads of Departments, Activity Coordinators, Boarding Staff, and Administrative Departments.
- Coordinate academic events, assemblies, competitions, educational trips, and enrichment programmes.
- Ensure smooth implementation of school policies and academic procedures.
Quality Assurance
- Monitor academic outcomes and implement improvement plans where required.
- Analyse student performance data to support academic planning.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE/CAIE or other applicable board guidelines.
- Promote continuous improvement in teaching and learning practices.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in the relevant subject with a B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- Minimum 5–8 years of teaching experience, with at least 2–3 years in an academic leadership or coordination role.
- Experience in CBSE, CAIE, or other recognised curricula.
- Experience in a residential/boarding school will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
