Position Summary
VIS is seeking a creative, organized, and execution-focused Social Media Executive to manage and grow the company's presence across all social media platforms. This role is responsible for planning, creating, publishing, monitoring, and optimizing content that increases brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and recruitment for our Study Abroad, Work Abroad, BridgeUSA, and Cultural Exchange programs.
The ideal candidate stays current with social media trends, enjoys creating engaging content, and understands how to build online communities while supporting the company's business growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management
- Manage all company social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X,pintrest,google and other relevant platforms.
- Create and maintain monthly social media content calendars.
- Publish posts, reels, stories, shorts, and videos according to schedule.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms.
- Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement, responding promptly or routing inquiries to the appropriate team.
Content Creation
- Create engaging captions, graphics, reels, and short-form video content.
- Coordinate with counselors, students, partners, and management to produce educational and promotional content.
- Capture photos and videos during company events, seminars, webinars, and office activities.
- Repurpose long-form content into short, engaging social media posts.
- Maintain an organized library of digital content and media assets.
Community Engagement
- Increase followers through organic engagement strategies.
- Build relationships with prospective students, candidates, alumni, and partners.
- Monitor online reviews and brand mentions.
- Encourage user-generated content and testimonials.
- Support online reputation management.
Campaign Support
- Assist with campaigns promoting Study Abroad, Work Abroad, BridgeUSA, internships, events, webinars, and recruitment drives.
- Coordinate with the Marketing Manager to support paid campaigns through creative assets and social media execution.
- Promote education fairs, seminars, workshops, and special events.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track engagement, reach, impressions, follower growth, clicks, and conversions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly social media performance reports.
- Recommend improvements based on analytics and audience behavior.
- Stay updated with platform algorithm changes and emerging trends.
Brand Management
- Ensure all content follows company branding guidelines.
- Maintain a professional and positive online presence.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend new content ideas.
QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Mass Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience managing business social media accounts.
- Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube.
- Experience with educational services, recruitment, travel, or service industries is preferred.
Required Skills
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong content writing and copywriting skills.
- Knowledge of social media algorithms and best practices.
- Basic photography and videography skills.
- Ability to shoot content using a smartphone or camera.
- Basic video editing skills.
- Graphic design skills using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
