Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Sr. E-Learning Developer to lead the technical creation of high-impact digital learning experiences. In this senior role, you will go beyond basic module building to architect complex, highly interactive learning solutions. You will champion advanced development standards, establish AI-integrated workflows, and provide technical mentorship to a multidisciplinary team of internal and external developers, instructional designers, and illustrators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced Interactive Development: Architect complex, branching, and gamified e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline 360. Implement custom JavaScript, triggers, and variables to push the boundaries of standard authoring tools.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Act as the technical anchor for the team. Review course builds from internal and external developers, establish best practices for UI/UX consistency, and troubleshoot complex technical roadblocks.
- AI Orchestration & Advanced Workflows: Lead the integration of advanced AI tools and agentic workflows into the development lifecycle to scale production, generate rapid prototypes, and create dynamic multimedia assets (voiceovers, visual elements).
- LMS Strategy & Advanced Tracking: Design and implement robust data tracking strategies. Go beyond basic SCORM compliance by utilizing xAPI to capture nuanced learner data and ensure flawless integration across complex Learning Management Systems.
- Multimedia & Asset Direction: Oversee the visual storytelling process. Produce and guide the creation of custom graphics, complex animations, and video elements using Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere Pro, or After Effects to ensure high production value.
- Accessibility & Inclusive Architecture: Champion WCAG accessibility standards across all projects, ensuring robust closed captioning, screen reader compatibility, and universal design principles are baked into the core templates.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 6–8 years of dedicated professional experience in e-learning development, with a proven track record of managing complex, high-visibility projects.
- Authoring Tools: Master-level proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise). Strong capability in writing and implementing custom JavaScript and HTML5 within authoring environments.
- Visual Design & Multimedia: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) to conceptualize and execute custom UI/UX elements and motion graphics.
- LMS & Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of LMS architecture, SCORM/AICC/xAPI standards, and experience troubleshooting complex wrapper or tracking issues.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent extensive professional portfolio).
