Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up, operate, and maintain computer numerical control (CNC) machines. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe, milling, drilling, etc.) according to specifications
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files
- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations
- Adjust machine settings to ensure precision and quality
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
- Maintain production records and report any issues
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (ITI/Diploma in Mechanical preferred)
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with CNC programming basics (G-code knowledge is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CAD/CAM software
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication skills
Working Conditions
- Shop floor/manufacturing environment.
