About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Head to drive business growth for our logistics and supply chain division. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in generating business for 3PL logistics, transportation, warehousing, heavy cargo movement, contract logistics, and end-to-end supply chain solutions.
The candidate will be responsible for revenue generation, client acquisition, key account management, and market expansion while also ensuring effective coordination with operations and administration teams for seamless customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (Primary Responsibility)
- Generate new business opportunities in 3PL Logistics, Transportation, Warehousing and Supply Chain Solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with manufacturers, exporters, importers, distributors, e-commerce companies and industrial clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Identify new markets, industries and business opportunities.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations and negotiations.
- Prepare commercial proposals, logistics solutions and service agreements.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and convert leads into long-term business.
- Manage key customer accounts and ensure repeat business.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Develop strategic plans to increase revenue and profitability.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Handle customer escalations and coordinate resolutions.
- Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.
- Follow up on proposals, quotations, contracts and collections.
Team Leadership
- Lead and guide the sales team to achieve business targets.
- Monitor team performance and productivity.
- Train and mentor team members.
- Coordinate with operations, accounts and management teams.
Office & Operations Coordination (Secondary Responsibility)
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales and operations teams.
- Support branch administration and day-to-day office management.
- Monitor service delivery commitments made to customers.
- Coordinate with transporters, warehouse teams and vendors whenever required.
- Assist management in maintaining operational efficiency and customer service standards.
- Review MIS reports, business performance and operational updates.
Candidate Profile
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA Marketing / Logistics / Supply Chain Management preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in:

- Transportation & Fleet Management
